The Dual Mode CD Features GCompris 7.4 and Childsplay 0.83, with installers for Windows as well as being available within the Live CD Environment.
"Brandon" also will signify a new distribution method for EDU-Nix CD updates, with official CD images being updated twice per year. In between releases, updated and new modules will continue to be developed and distributed via the EDU-Nix SlaxCenter, allowing users to update or create their own customized versions of the EDU-Nix CD.
Version II will be released October 31, 2006, Brandon is serving as a Beta refresh for testing purposes. Future releases will abandon the numeric versioning system, so there will not be a "Version III" per se.
