Exploring the Periodic Table of Elements

Kalzium is an interactive Periodic Table of Elements

(Live CD) Start Kalzium from the link on the desktop, or from the Edutainment Menu under Science.

  1. Kalzium is a fantastic reference, when started you are presented with the Periodic Table of Elements. By hovering the cursor over an Element, you will be presented with cursory information about the Element (and in some cases, a picture if available).
  2. Click on the Element to get even more in-depth chemical data.
  3. You can also explore the historical timeline of Elemental discoveries
  4. Another interesting aspect is the ability to view the effect of temperature on the Elemental States of Matter.
